Beaumer trail

In downtown Carnac, visit the Church of Saint Cornely, one of Morbihan’s finest religious monuments dating from the 17th century. East of the village of Carnac, this trail loops through the rural landscape of the commune. Follow the path from Kergouellec pond to the village of Cloucarnac, where you’ll discover ancient buildings and a beautiful well. Many legends tell of local ghosts, or “spontails” in Breton, who linger near waterholes and play tricks on harried travellers.
