Megalithics stones in Carnac

Description

3 000 menhirs set up between 5 000 and 2 000 BC in a alignment over 4 kilometers long: the megalithic sites of Carnac represent a model of monumental architecture of a breadth unequalled in Europe. These thousand of menhirs, which have always captured the imagination of travelers, form a major prehistoric and archaeological site contributing to our understanding of Neolithic culture.
